Trust is unique to everyone. It refers to a feeling of confidence that is
born of two dimensions: character and competence. Character includes
integrity, motive, and intent with people. Competence includes
capabilities, skills, results, and track record. Both dimensions are vital.

How do you build trust? You have to put yourself out there.
And you have to get away from this idea that you might be taken advantage of and that could happen.
Yes, but building trust is worth taking the risk.
Don't be afraid of being taken advantage of.
So many of us live in fear of judgment or somebody getting one over on us.
It's okay. When you're comfortable in your own skin and you truly are an authentic leader,
you will give out that trust and it will come back tenfold,
but you have to believe in yourself and your leadership abilities,
and your value system in order to do this.
