Gravitas, what is Gravitas?
Gravitas is the Hallmark of authentic leadership a leader with gravitas embodies all of the traits of authentic leadership.
They're comfortable in their own skin. They live their life,
both inside, and outside of work in line with their values.
They make you feel safe. They create that safe environment,
they’re that leader that you would do
absolutely anything for, the one that's got your back.
That knows how to challenge you
but just the right amount and is there to support you and if you falter and fall and yes fail,
they will pick you up and help
you and propel you forward. Leaders with gravitas know how to unleash
the potential of every single person on their team.
That's gravitas.
It's not something that you ever fully achieve
because the moment you think you've gotten there?
Mmm. It's probably not Gravitas.
That's probably borderline arrogance.
Gravitas is a quest.
It's a continuation. This thirst to get better to be a better leader every single day.
